Julie’s Journey
Julie Ramos was born and raised in Texas and spent many years in Chicago, IL but is now located in Los Angeles, CA. Julie loves to learn and is always looking to expand her knowledge especially when it comes to her acting career.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts with a minor in Biology from Texas A&M University, but the learning hasn't stopped there. After several classes for acting and improv at the Second City Training Center in Chicago, she found herself at another acting school in Chicago going through the Meisner program TWICE (she really wanted to get that into her soul and Meisner is known for it’s repetition, so it just made sense to take it a second time.) Julie then discovered and moved on to study Alba/Emotional Regulation and is all up in her feelings about it (get it? emotional regulation and feelings? Never mind.)
Julie is a SAG-AFTRA member. Before joining SAG-AFTRA, she enjoyed doing short films and she's proud that a few of those films won awards in several film festivals. Being part of the short films was a chance to collaborate and expand and hone her acting skills. She has also done some theatre productions in small venues as well.
Julie has worked with award winning actors and producers...Emmy and Golden Globe to name a couple of their awards, and looks forward to winning her own awards someday. She’d love to get the whole EGOT set! That's why she is always learning and expanding her acting skills. Julie is currently seeking representation in Los Angeles, CA.
